~Music, often described as organized sound, plays an incredibly important role in our lives. It allows us to feel emotion and express ourselves.
As we experience the reality of quarantine day by day, our collective thoughts and ideas are shifting and changing. There seems to exist a dichotomy between dealing with spatial limitations by the confinements of our homes and the infinite opportunities of communication through our devices. Although most of our experiences have been converted to a remote setting, we need to be able to maintain connections with people.
When watching Spaceship Earth, a perpetual thought kept circulating in my mind: we are living in Biosphere 2. With the advent of COVID-19, many individuals around the globe have been asked to seek shelter in their homes, quarantining and sustaining their lives within their own domestic spheres.

In fact, it has probably made a contribution to research in almost every scientific area, from drug addition to virology (Hox Zodiac).

The start of each mundane morning is signified by the chirping birds outside my bedroom window. Although the nagging sound of alarms is what leads me to jump out of my subconscious thoughts, it is the sound of nature that follows that keeps me sane.
